Can my child use it alone?
Ideally not. Parental involvement is part of the intended learning flow. The site contents can contain inaccuracies, and having the parent to guide the child is important.
What device is best suited for this website?
This site is best viewed on an iPad or a laptop. It is not optimised for mobile.

Where is my progress data stored?
Your progress data is stored locally in this browser. No progress data is stored on this website's servers, so it will only appear on the same laptop and browser. A word of caution - if you clear your cache, all the progress is gone and unrecoverable.
What happens if I change laptop, browser, or clear my cache?
Your local progress may not appear anymore. Clearing browser data can permanently delete the website's usage data from that browser.
How do I move my progress to another laptop?
Use Export Data to copy your local progress as a JSON string (it's just lines of text arranged in a special way), then use Import Data on the other laptop or browser. Note that it overwrites all existing data on the new laptop.
What can I get from the English modules?
English Compo provides compositions to read and learn from. Each composition has a Chinese equivalent so your child reading both will better infer the meaning of the words. Vocab helps with vocabulary practice. MyList lets you add words your child commonly gets wrong, and generate learning contents around them.
What can I get from the Chinese modules?
Chinese Compo provides compositions with useful 好词好句. The Words module helps with level-appropriate Chinese characters. It has a Learn component, as well as the Test component. MyList lets you add words that your child commonly gets wrong for further practice.
What is AI 心小学?
AI 心小学 is a reimagination of a school that teaches English and Chinese through fun activities. You will find the first module, which is an Adventure game where you fight by answering with the right hanyu pinyin, as well as Chinese phrases and idioms.
Is this site affiliated with any government entity?
Not at all. Nothing here is supported or advocated by official education entities. Use it if you think it is useful.
